Tuscany is the stronghold of Sangiovese. In every corner of the region, this grape is used to produce distinctive wines such as the popular Chianti and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. They also include the multi-award-winning Il Conventino Riserva, a Delinat best-seller.
Unknown Tuscany: Montecucco
Still little known is the Montecucco wine region in the Maremma. This is where Delinat winemaker Leonardo Salustri produces Sangiovese wines that are among the oenological highlights of Tuscany. The grapes come from specially selected vines and they ripen in vineyards that stand out for their exemplary levels of biodiversity. Conterocca is the name of one of Salustri’s most popular wines. The fresh and fruity-tasting Tuscan wine from Montecucco also represents impressive value for money. More detailed information about Conterocca and all the other Salustri wines, as well as ordering options, can be found below.
