Provence – The home of rosé

The south of France and in particular the Provence region are considered the home of rosé. The best wines now come from this region. But wine producers in Spain, Italy and Germany are now also increasingly making rosé; they are sounding out its potential and continuously refining its production. Incidentally, good rosé is not made by mixing red and white wine. Red grapes form the basis, and they are pressed after just a few hours. Then the most is vinified like a white wine.
